本論文は早稲田大学スポーツ科学研究科 村岡研究室の岩田理沙さんが計画した、暑熱環境下における運動前のアイススラリー摂取の効果について検証された内容が報告されています。本実験では、アイススラリー摂取による体温の指標に男女差はみられなかったものの、主観的指標（thermal sensation, thermal comfort）においては女性の方が男性よりも低く報告する傾向が認められました。
